Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is best known for the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career as a performer during the 80s. She became famous for Tezaab, a film starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her next appearance on screen was Dil along with Aamir. When she was a kid, the Mumbai-born dancer began developing her skills at a young age. As a teenager she started acting, and struggled for years because most of her first films were failures. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and then became one of the most prominent actresses within the Indian film business. After her marriage, she took an interruption in her professional career. She returned later. She played a major role on Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. In addition, she is acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
